Warranty Terms and Conditions
This 1-year limited warranty on the watch movement covers defects in craftsmanship or manufacturing that may affect the movement’s performance. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase and applies exclusively to the original buyer or any subsequent owner within the United States. This warranty is intended for personal use only and does not cover timepieces used for business purposes or any form of commercial use.
What Is Covered:
Movement defects and failures due to manufacturing issues.
Necessary repairs or servicing of the movement as determined by Brevard Timepieces.
What Is Not Covered:
Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or improper handling.
Cosmetic wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or discoloration.
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or servicing.
Water damage if the watch exceeds its specified water resistance rating.
Any non-movement related issues, including bracelet, case, crystal, or crown damage.
Theft or loss of the timepiece.
Loss of use or any associated damages resulting from the timepiece being out of service.
Damages resulting from business use, commercial activities, or unauthorized use of the timepiece.
Warranty Transferability:
This warranty is fully transferable within the United States. To maintain the warranty, any subsequent owner must retain the original warranty card.
Our Right to Repair or Buy Back:
At our discretion, Brevard Timepieces reserves the right to either repair the defective timepiece or purchase it back at the lower of the original purchase price or current market value. If the cost of repair exceeds $500, we reserve the right to execute a buyback instead.
Warranty Claim Process:
The current owner must initiate a warranty claim using the form provided above.
All claims must be submitted with the warranty card and the unique code provided.
If approved, a fully insured shipping label will be provided, and the watch must be sent using FedEx Overnight.
Upon receipt, our experts will evaluate the watch.
If a repair is warranted, the turnaround time may vary based on the complexity of the issue and availability of parts.
No Compensation for Loss of Use:
Brevard Timepieces will not provide compensation for loss of use during the warranty period, regardless of the time required for repair or evaluation.
Brevard Timepieces reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
